Footage shows a Ukrainian Buk-M1 9A310M1 TELAR air defense system knocking down an unspecified Russian drone with a surface-to-air missile.
Russia has lost so many drones and loiter munitions that they have now worked out a deal with Iran to receive hundreds of Iranian loiter munitions. The drones are likely the "Shahed" style used by Iranian proxies in places like Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.
While it may seem laughable that Russia will now be relying on Iranian drones, the Iranian unmanned aerial systems may actually be of better quality and capability than most of the offerings we have seen from Russia throughout the war in Ukraine.
