This compilation of drone and handheld camera footage, provided by the Ukrainian military, shows members of the 501st Separate Naval Infantry Battalion, 36th Marine Brigade. They engage in the time-honored tradition of writing messages on the ordinance before sending it- a practice that goes back at least as far as ancient Greece, when slingers would etch "Ouch" or "Catch!" on their ammunition. As we've seen with other artillery footage, the actual rounds themselves are obfuscated, in order to give plausible deniability to their country of origin. While certain countries cannot be seen to support Ukraine, money talks. Wherever the mortar rounds may have come from, they perform on delivery, dropping into Russian targets and detonating.
