Members of the Ukrainian KORD finish of an armored column with RPG-7s after what appears to be an artillery attack on the Russian's patrol. You can hear the spotting drone prior to them moving into their hot positions.

There's a lot of things happening in this video, and I'm going to break down how we understand it. At the beginning of the video we can hear what sounds like a commercial drone flying overhead. This is likely a nearby artillery unit spotting their rounds and utilizing it as a forward observer. We've seen them doing this quite a bit throughout the conflict so far, and the reaction to the artillery rounds firing overhead is indicative of troops expecting friendly artillery.

The troops on the ground waiting to move in and exploit the artillery strike are members of the Elite Ukrainian KORD unit. They're identifiable by the unit designating patch we see on the younger Soldier's plate carrier as he stands in front of the tree. The rest of their equipment also matches up with the standard issue we've seen in KORD promotional videos for the past few years.

When they initially move into position, they appear to be surveying the damage caused by their adjacent artillery unit. They follow up the attack with RPG-7 rounds into the already disabled armor to ensure that they vehicles are fully disabled before they move back into their cold position and carry on with their operation. After this, they probably were heading towards the next nearest Russian patrol that they had intelligence on. We wish them happy hunting today.

Throughout the conflict so far, we've seen the Ukrainians outclassing the Russians in a majority of the gunfights we've seen. While the Russians cling to battle tactics that were prominent in the 1990s, the Ukrainians have had better training, and are now gaining crucial combat experience that is putting them leagues ahead of their Russian adversaries in this battle. It's also interesting to note that the Ukrainian KORD troops in this video are far better equipped than any of the Russian Soldiers we've seen thus far.
