Footage from Azov Regiment's 3rd Assault Brigade shows Ukrainian infantrymen working their way through forested strips that conceal Russian fighting positions on the flanks of Bakhmut.
The Ukrainians are perfecting the evolution of modern infantry tactics as their movements are monitored and guided by overhead observation drones. While the ground troops' visibility is limited due to thick summer vegetation, the drone gives them early warnings and directions regarding their proximity to Russian bunkers and alerts them to enemy movements and activities.
