Wagner Mercenary Convoy Burns After Mali Ambush

Footage recorded by militants in Mali reportedly shows the burning result of a deadly ambush against Russian Wagner mercenaries. According to reports, approximately 80 Wagner military contractors were killed in the ambush, multiple MRAPs destroyed, and even a Mi-24 attack helicopter was reportedly shot down in the incident.
The attack was reportedly carried out by a joint force consisting of local Tuareg fighters and al Qaeda affiliate Jama'a Nusrat ul-Islam wa al-Muslimin (JNIM).
